(1) Police Trade Beretta Cougar 8000 D 9mm 15 Round Capacity 8000D
Description
This police trade-in model has seen service but remains a staple in Beretta's engineering excellence. The Cougar 8000D features a sleek design with a matte black finish. The Cougar ensures smooth and accurate shooting, reducing felt recoil and muzzle flip. This not only enhances the shooter's control but also contributes to the firearm's longevity.
The double-action-only (DAO) trigger system ensures a consistent and safe trigger pull. The ergonomic grip and well-placed controls make it comfortable to handle and operate. Its legacy of service underscores its value, offering buyers a high-quality firearm with proven reliability.

I haven't had. a chance to get it to the range yet, but the Cougar 8000D 9mm that I got from Gunprime looks new, never even holstered (of course, YYMV). Very pleased. I just wish I could find a source of Beretta mags for it, or even Stoeger mags, or Mec-Gar (if they made them) for it. Not a fan of ProMags.
Something a lot of people may not be aware of is the Beretta D models, regardless of which series of Beretta it is, all have a very smooth, no stack DAO trigger. This smoothness and even pull lends itself to repeatable accuracy. These M8000D series pistols have a perfect DAO trigger pull, no stacking, if you don't mind an explanation of stacking: Stacking is when the trigger pull gets progressively heavier throughout the triggers travel, it might start at 4 pounds but it will break at 6 or 7 or even more. The Beretta D models do not have any stacking, they are a consistent 5 to 6 pounds throughout the trigger travel. If they begin at 6 they end at 6. I have not found a bullet type that will not feed in these. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend these M8000D's without hesitation.
