Ok, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect since I’d never really heard of Brigade manufacturing before. It arrived with a light coat of oil, still disassembled and cleaned before use. Lower and Upper fit great with very little play, handguard is rock solid, trigger is usual AR mil-spec variety… the entire setup is fairly heavy with the weighted muzzle attachment it comes with. The weight seems to help with felt recoil though, even being a blowback action it shoots really soft and smooth. I ran a couple hundred rounds of mixed 9mm that I had to test its function. Tried old reman freedom munitions hp and fmj, federal hst 124/147gr, Hornady critical defense/duty 124gr/135gr+p, wolf steel 115gr, Golden Sabre 147gr and random junk that couldn’t even identify. It had zero malfunctions using the Glock 33rd mag that came with it, as well 3 new Glock oem Gen5 33rd mags that I bought separately. Last round hold open worked without any issue as well. Sighted in at 25yds with Federal HST 147gr using a Sig Romeo5 2moa sight. Standing offhand it’s not hard at all to hold a tennis ball sized group at that distance shooting fairly quick. Had no issues at 50 and 75yds offhand on 10” steel plates. Only shot a few at 100yds on a standard 1/2 size silhouette target, which grouped roughly the size of a softball for 10rds. Definitely accurate enough for short range work. My wife and kids love shooting it as well, which is a huge plus. I’ve got all manner of AR pistols, in a bunch of calibers, and have put off “downgrading” to a 9mm PCC or “Pistol” like this. I was wrong, my example has been reliable, accurate and loads of fun to plink around with… not to mention giving my family another option for defense if need be. Good stuff!
