Colt Single Action Frontier Scout Alamo Model Revolver

The Alamo Model commemorative was produced by Colt in 1967. Production was around 4500 guns. The grips are imitation ivory with gold Colt medallions and a gold star at the butt. The frame and barrel are blued and the other parts are gold plated.

serial #3706A22, 22 LR, 4 3/4'' barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and frame retain about 99% original royal blue while the cylinder, hammer, grip frame, trigger, screws and base pin all retain about 99% original gold plate. The faux ivory grips are about excellent, they have yellowed slightly, both sides have gold medallions and the left panel displays a large gold star. The revolver is housed in an about very good condition blue baize French-fitted wood case with an Alamo battle scene etched into the lid.
