Henry Repeating Long Ranger 223 Coyote Wildlife Edition H014WL-223
Description
oo many guns in your safe? Hard to find your dedicated coyote rifle at a glance? Your antelope gun? Your elk rifle? Have we got a solution for you.
Carrying on with our popular Long Ranger Series, if you’re a coyote-caller, an antelope chaser, or a hard-core elk hunter, now you can order a premium grade version in any of the three standard LR calibers, with special engraving that perfectly matches your favorite game hunts. Each of the three new Wildlife Long Ranger editions uses the basic package of 7lb weight, 20” round barrel, checkered walnut, straight wrist, folding adjustable rear sight and .062” ivory bead front, transfer bar safety, solid rubber recoil pad, sling swivels, and detachable steel magazine, and adds a high-polish nickel plating to the drilled & tapped lightweight alloy receiver, under scroll engraving that frames 24K gold-inlaid depictions of each animal, on both receiver flats.
The Long Ranger Wildlife Coyote comes in .223 Remington/5.56 NATO, with a single coyote head on the left flat and a pair of full-figured coyotes on the right.
Who else but Henry makes it so easy to tell which is which at a glance (especially if you have all three in the family), and how cool is that? The same high-grade hunter, in the same familiar configuration, covering a wide range of game sizes and hunts.

I got to see and hold my rifle last week after it arrived in Washington State. It is a beautiful rifle. I'm not sure if I'll shoot it or keep it NIB (new in box). Henry nailed it when they put this gun together. The bluing is great, it sets off the engraving, and the grain & checkering on the wood stock make this gun a masterpiece,
I had GunPrime, in Alabama, put my name on the waiting list for the Henry Long Ranger Elk Model (.308).
Washington State has a 10 BUSINESS day waiting period, once the firearm arrives at the Washington State FFL store. Even if you have a concealed weapons permit. Yes, even though it is a lever action long gun, 10 day wait. So. I won't get to take possession until well after Labor Day. Yes. Eastern Washington is trying to separate from Western Washington.
