Description
Henry rifles have always been designed with a removable tube magazine, inspired by the original 1860s-era Henry rifle. But with the introduction of the Side Gate Lever Action rifle, the best of both worlds has been combined. The rifle features a standard removable tube magazine for safe and easy unloading and a side loading gate to keep the magazine topped off for quick reloads without needing to remove the stock from the shoulder.
The Side Gate Lever Action rifle is crafted with attention to detail and exceptional craftsmanship. The rifle features a hardened brass receiver with brass accents, including the buttplate and barrel band. The American walnut furniture is complemented by intricate, deep checkering that ensures a firm grip. The rifle boasts a semi-buckhorn rear and ivory bead front sight accompanying a 20” round blued steel barrel, providing the accuracy expected from a Henry rifle.
The rifle’s specifications include a capacity of 5 rounds and a weight of 7.5 lbs, with a polished brass receiver finish and a 14” length of pull. It is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and uses a Weaver 63B scope mount type. The rifle looks great except it has ding in the hanguard. I have not taken it to the range yet. I worked the action and it is smooth. I don’t have any doubt it will perform well.
I think with my experience with Gun Prime they do exactly as they say they’re going to do and they’re very pleasant to talk to and they know if they’re doing and is very good friends with Gun Prime and I love the gun itself looks catch him and I will try it out in November and see how it works but otherwise beautiful god beautiful gun
Workmanship is great. Well made and looks great. I have done no test firing because finding 30-30 ammo is almost impossible.
I’m extremely happy with my new Henry. It is well built and hope to enjoy it for many years. This is the second gun I’ve purchased on GunPrime and I recommend them to all my friends.
Got it for my Father for Christmas. Out of the box it looks better than I was expecting. The engraving is very nice. Very pleased with this purchase.
I ordered a Henry rifle on line after finally finding what I wanted on Gunprime. It arrived at my FFL in 4 days. Unfortunately it was damaged in shipping. I contacted Gunprime by email and got a call within a day. They offered to take it back but it was so hard to find that I did not want to send it back not knowing when another might be available. Gunprime promised to contact Henry on my behalf and try and get a replacement part. They kept me informed of progress and got Henry (who was also great in all this) to send the part to the FFL to be replaced. I picked it up tonite and look forward to trying it this weekend. It was my first experience with Gunprime but it won’t be my last.
I received my Henry in record time, and it is Awesome!! Smooth action and very well fitted. The stock and the brass are beautiful ! I haven’t made it to the range yet, but am looking forward to it soon. I think this will be the best rifle I ever buy, unless I buy another Henry!
