IWI Tavor 7 308 FDE 7.62 Nato 16" Barrel T7FD16
Description
The Tavor 7 is the next evolutionary step in the Tavor bullpup family. Based on requests from military and civilian customers alike, the Tavor 7 is IWI’s introduction into the 7.62×51 bullpup rifle offering. The Tavor carries the usual reliability expected of all IWI products with some increased ergonomic features. This includes the ability to lock the charging handle without the use of the bolt catch. It also maintains the M4 type ambidextrous magazine release system and 45 degree ambidextrous safety. The TAVOR 7 is a fully ambidextrous platform on which the ejection side and the charging handle can be switched quickly and easily from side to side by the user. The ambidextrous features include: safety lever, magazine release, and bolt catch similar to the X95. The IWI Tavor 7 also includes an M-LOK fore-end as well as MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rails at the 12 and 6 o’clock positions, to allow the use of multiple devices and accessories. The rifle’s body is built from high-strength impact-modified polymer, and has a hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel for enhanced accuracy and life cycle. Additional features include a short stroke gas piston with a 4-position gas regulator, (including an OFF position – a unique feature designed for special operation needs), a rotating bolt system that ensures maximum safety for the user, and a pistol grip that can be changed or modified. Restricted States: Sales of this rifle may be restricted in certain states and the District of Columbia. Please check with your local authorities regarding your local firearms laws.

Tavor 7 riifle shipped out within a few days. They sent tracking to my email to follow. Package arrived at my ffl in proper condition. Fast service. Will definitely use gunprime for future purchases!
Great Product! Great Service!
Too early for me to really do a review of the Tavor 7 rifle itself. It is sturdy, built like a brick house seems to match up with all the hype. Have not gone to the range yet but I can’t wait to try it out. I would like to say that Gunprime was top notch in answering my questions, filling my order and getting it to me very quickly. I could not be more pleased.
Becoming my favorite place to order firearms and ammo. Very fast to ship, notifications every step of the way and no issues.
This is my 3rd IWI product. TS12, X95 and now Tavor 7. Whats not to like! Great "battle rifle". 16" barrel within a firearm only 27" in length. Extremely well made! Don't let the polymer fool you. Its indestructible. Love that the gas is adjustable and plenty of room for attachments. I love the FDE color as well. Get one!
I have never even shot or held a Bullpup until I bought this. The 308 is absolutely awesome. I have two A.R. 15’s a Springfield Armory GEN 1 and a Wyndham Weaponry Carbine. Anyway I absolutely love this thing the flat dark earth is awesome I put a Aimpoint pro on in and a magnifier on it and the pistol grip instead of the standard grip and I bought over 30 20 round mags. And also a Magpul drum. anyway I’ve shot over 2500 rounds in it and not jam and army not one failure to feed failure to eject or anything like that this thing is a true home defense rifle a specially for me I live on a 100 acre farm in North Carolina. With no neighbors around for at least 10 miles so you get what I’m saying. Now don’t get me wrong I still love my AR‘s but this thing is a whole Nother entity.
The Tavor 7 is everything I expected it would be, but this review is about Gunprime.com. I called to see if they had a Tavor 7 in FDE, and they only had one left. The gentleman in the warehouse told me that the UPS truck will be there in 20 minutes, and he could ship it out that same day if I ordered it right then. I immediately paid with my credit card, and sure enough I received a shipping notice from UPS half an hour later. I could not ask for better, thank you Gunprime!
I got scammed by a Nigerian website spoofing Tombstone Tactical. My credit card company covered the fraud, but I felt like an idiot and was shaken, it was my first time ever being scammed. Needless to say I was scared to try again, especially with a company my gun nut, but soon to be husband had never heard of. I figured I’d give it a shot since my credit card company was apparently paying for scams and it turns out these guys are legit! This was my first gun purchase, Gunprime’s customer service was super helpful and walked me through the entire process. I pre-ordered a Tavor 7 for my soon to be husband for his wedding gift. Being scared that it was a scam, I reached out to IWI USA every week checking to see if the guns had arrived from Israel yet. Days after it arrived at IWI, Gunprime had the gun in hand and shipped immediately. This gun was on my husband’s top 3 wish list (next to an semi-auto AA12 and a PS90 (that he bought himself prior to the wedding)) so he was super excited to get it on our wedding day. We already have a Tavor SAR 5.56, and this gun was about the same size, maybe a little heavier. That said, I grew up shooting my dad’s 308 hunting rifle and that thing kicked harder than my husband’s KSG! I had a precision artery hypertap break installed on it so we never shot it with it’s native break, but this gun‘s recoil hits just slightly harder than a standard 5.56! As a 98lb woman, I can shoot fairly fast splits with the gun, unsupported. My 11 year old son actually prefers to shoot the Tavor 7 over our AK with a standard break. That said, my now husband tells story of Afghanistan and shooting bad guys with a 7.62x51, apparently even ball ammo will take half a terrorist’s back out with a single shot. My husband is concerned about reports that this gun won’t be able to shoot 308 rounds, but reports online are mixed and we haven’t tried yet. He wants to put bonded soft points in his standard combat load, but we’ll just have to wait until the next range day to see if they are reliable in this gun. If you walk away from anything, know you can trust this company and the Tavor 7 is an awesome gun. It’s my hubby’s “big poppa” now.
I preordered december 21st and was delivered today march 16th. Worth the wait, mounted my interim optics and boresighted at home. 2 groups on paper and I was clanging steel from 100-400 for a pretty quick 45 minutes. I'm an IWI fan for life.
I finally received my Tavor 7 this past Friday. Dec 27th. I pre-ordered on September 3rd. I’m glad I waited on the FDE model. The black versions came in a bit earlier. This was my first FDE rifle and I love how it looks.
Can’t wait to put my optics on it and test her out.
