Description
Get your new Mossberg from Gunprime! The best source for your gun and ammo needs!!
The SA-20 is perfectly balanced, fast handling, lightweight, and just as importantly, easy on the wallet. This soft shooting, gas operated shotgun features a full-length stock with a pistol grip, top rail, a magazine tube accessory Tri-Rail extension, an AR-style winged fiber optic front sight, a ghost ring rear sight, and an Easy Load Elevator. The gas system on this reliable shotgun vents excess gases to aid in recoil reduction and helps in eliminating stress on the operating components. This is a fun-to-shoot, "go anywhere," "do anything" kind of gun, with the built-in features normally found on shotguns costing twice the price.

After purchasing this gun, I loaded it with Rio 9 pellet buckshot 1345 fps ammo and it would not cycle. I then loaded it with NSI 20 pellet buckshot 1300 fps and NSI 9 pellet buckshot 1300 fps and it worked great not one problem.. Tried the Rio 9 pellet again and it would not cycle, cleaned the heck out of the gun paying close attention to the gas ports in the barrell, I used a small wire brush to get into those holes and noticed a lot of carbon coming out. Still would not cycle the Rio though, after about 50 rounds of NSI 20 and 9 pellet buckshot I tried the Rio 9 pellet again and it cycled. I'm thinking there must be a break in period, One thing I can suggest, do not lube the piston, leave it dry when reassembling. Other than that it's works as it should...
This is a great gun, but it is finicky with the ammo... it wouldn't cycle using Rio 9 pellet buckshot at 1345fps or Federal hi-brass 4shot at 1220fps but it cycled perfectly fine using NSI 20 pellet at 1300fps... I'm not sure what the difference is between these ammo's are but when you find the right ammo the gun works great! Also this is an imported gun not made by mossberg in USA, probably the same gun as the citadel advertised here... just sayin...
Recently purchased & ran 100 shells of Rio 7/8 oz slugs without issue. Bought for home defense & am completely satisfied with it.
I like the shotgun. Light and easy to handle. My only complaint is it won't shoot low brass ammo. Even good quality high velocity. It just won't eject, not even once in awhile. You have to cycle every round by hand. All the high brass shoots fine. I don't understand what difference the high low makes but it does. Gunprine was great. Very fast shipping.
