The Max 9, striker-fired with a short, smooth trigger pull, clean break and positive reset, is ideal for personal protection because it provides a capacity of up to 12+1 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition in a slim, lightweight and compact build.

Boasting rugged construction with a through-hardened alloy steel slide; one-piece, precision-machined fire control chassis; and high-performance, glass-filled nylon, medium-textured grip frame that provides a secure and comfortable grip, the Ruger Max-9 is a pistol you can absolutely depend on.

Safety features include an integrated trigger safety, an internal striker blocker, and an inspection port that allows for visual confirmation of a loaded or empty chamber. A reversible magazine release is provided for convenience, and a tritium fiber optic day/night front sight for high visibility has been paired with a drift adjustable rear sight for fast and efficient target engagement with the Ruger Max 9. The optic-ready slide allows for direct mounting of co-witnessed JPoint™ and Shield-pattern micro red dot sights for even better performance.

Included in the package are two E-Nickel Teflon® coated magazines and a finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to the magazine for comfort and improved grip.
