Gunprime actually had the Smith & Wesson 648 22 mag in stock! I ordered the gun 2/9/23 at 11:15am online through their site and it arrived at my FFL in southern MS the next day around 10:45am. This was my second purchase from them, last time was 12/23/20. Both times have been great experiences.
I like the feel and smoothness of shooting. At first the hammer strike was soft but after tightening the hammer strike I have not had a FTF since. The sights are nice and the gun shoots true. This gun was hard to find but I located it on Gunprime and it was shipped to my designated FFL dealer promptly. This was a good purchase and I recommend this revolver to anyone who likes quality.
This K frame is amazing! Great balance, 8 rounds, and incredibly accurate out-of-the-box.
Shot 100 rounds and had 3 or 4 soft strikes single action. Hit them again double action and they went bang. Could be ammo, CCI Maxi Mag?
I've had it approx. 2 weeks but have not had the opportunity to do some target shooting. Very anxious to do so. I am more into revolvers than semi autos. Can't wait to put it into action.
