I am in the process of switching the sights out on this revolver to fiber optic sights that are NOT as blocky as the original steel sights.
I have several S&W 686’s, :357 is expensive and reloaded components are scarce. This gun is a great training tool and shoots like a champ! I dropped in a reduced spring kit from TK Custom and a HiViz SW617-R front sight. CCI mini mags seem to be the most reliable so far. The folks at GunPrime were awesome to work with. I get my next weapon from them also.
I am a wheelgunner now. I love this gun . It is a good looking gun. Stainless steel and 10 rounds capacity. I have not taken it to the range yet.
