This is a great little gun. I have the bigger XD9 full-size and have always loved that gun - but it is not a concealed carry gun, so I finally decided to pick up the single-stacked version and hoped it would shoot as good as the larger model. I can shoot it just as accurately as the larger model, which is great - can easily hit my 12" steel target at 25 yards. Also has all the neat features you get with any XD - ambidextrous mag release, trigger safety, grip safety, loaded-chamber indicator, reliable, accurate.
Long ago, I bought a keltec pf9 to carry concealed and absolutely hate that gun: it has a terrible trigger, almost impossible to hit anything more than 10 yards out and would bite my hand anytime I shot it - in short, I hate shooting it. This gun is the same size as the pf9, but night and day different. The sights are great, accurate out of the box, good trigger, and fun to shoot.
