Ive been trying to get my hands on one of these and omg i'm so pleased with it. It shoots great. The timing on the cylinder was on point. I got the Model 64-5 6rd with no hilary hole. I love it. I did buy 200rds of 38 special +p ammo thinking i was gonna get the +p version of the revolver but thats no big deal. Heads up, the revolver does come with a serial number engraved on the frame since it was a police trade in. Ive included a picture.
PROS:
LOOKS LIKE THE GUN WOULD BE REATED AT VERY GOOD; BORE, CYLINDER, AND OUTER FINISH, NO SIGN OF WEAR
THIS IS A 64-8
TRIGGER - HAS NOT SEEN A LOT OF FIRING AS IT FEELS WHEN YOU BUY A NEW FIREARM, IN DOUBLE ACTION
FIREARM SHOOTS WELL DOUBLE ACTION (HARD PULL) AND IN SINGLE ACTION
FINISH OF THE FIREARM IS EXCELLENT
CONS:
OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE FIREARM IS A 6-DIGIT ID NUMBER THAT IS PENCILED ENGRAVED - WOULD BE HELPFUL IF THE SITE SHOWS MULITPLE PICTURES OF ENTIRE FIREARM AND NOT THE ONLY THE "GOOD SIDE"
ALSO - THE SITE SHOULD RATE FIREARMS USING THE USED CRITERIA; GOOD, VERY GOOD, EXCELLENT
NOTE: I WOULD HAVE RATED THIS EXCELLENT - BUT THE ID ENGRAVING BROUGHT IT DOWN TO VERY GOOD IN MY OPINION
SIGHTING - WILL NEED TO PRACTICE - NOT EASY TO PICK UP FRONT AND REAR NOTCH WITH ALL GREY FINISH
SUMMARY: A VERY GOOD FIREARM IN WHICH THIS MODEL IS DIFFICULT TO OBTAIN THESE DAYS
NOTE: NOTE SURE IS THIS IS A POLICE TRADE-IN SINCE THIS OFFERING DOES NOT APPEAR IN THE POLICE TRADE-IN SECTION OF FIREARMS
