1943 Izhevsk Mosin-Nagant PU Sniper in Very Good Condition

1943 Izhevsk Mosin PU sniper in good condition. Metal is very nice, with a strong finish on the receiver and barrel. Very slight discoloration is present on the bolt handle. Varnish on wood has darkened and flaked sometime in the past along the barrel, but is not peeling and is not greasy. Varnish on the rear of the stock is in good shape, with a bright brown color. Scope is in good shape, with decently clear glass and fully functional adjustments. Scope, bolt, and receiver are all matching serials. Bore is very good, without pitting or major darkening. A small Century Arms import mark is present near the muzzle. Included sling is sturdy and in overall good shape. Bolt throw is very smooth for a Mosin, gliding well and opening without undue effort. A great shooter, this Mosin would make for a fun range toy, a neat collector's item, or even a challenging and interesting hunting rifle.
