USED Mossberg Firearms 500 All Purpose Field 410 Ga 24" Barrel 50104

owned the mossberg 500 field in 410 several times, each time it developed problems. when operating, it was the best 410 we owned. at one time, we had a rem 870 (fixed choke full), a bps (full choke screw in), and the mossy, so patterned each with the same ammo. the mossy was easily the best (and the cheapest). we use it for informal clay shooting, often taking 2 shots on 1 clay. therein is where problems arise: feeding problems. well, we are trying again with this 'used' mossy. it looks new, it cycles new (very tight), and shoots new. so far, so good: shot 2 boxes each of federal and bornaghi nr 8 without issue other than teething problems. it is loosening up nicely. took apart to clean and had some hassle because we forgot how things fit. true with any 'new' pump. by the bye, the drop at heel and length of pull on the field 500 is perfect out of box for me. this is the only shotgun I can say that about (trust me, I've owned too many).

I like the fact that I received what I ordered at a fair price and shipping was also good

Ventilated rib and checkered stock were a nice plus.
