Springfield Armory
Buyers Guide Springfield Armory: Defend Your Legacy
If there’s one name in the defense industry that immediately rings a bell, it’s Springfield.
With a history dating back to 1777, Springfield has seen its fair share of wars and triumphs. It experienced a brief setback around 1969 when it was close due to budget concerns, but thanks to the Reese Family Springfield has been given a new chance to continue its long-standing heritage. Today, Springfield remains one of the world’s respectable, reliable and resilient names in the firearms manufacturing industry.
The Hellcat
We live in an environment where even if we choose peace, we cannot just blindly rely that everyone else is going to do so. As the cliché goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Springfield, known for manufacturing rifles and small hand guns, came up with the Hellcat.
The Hellcat series (product in focus is Hellcat 3” Micro-compact 9MM) is a 9mm hand gun that packs a punch. While it looks small from the outside, make no mistake, this can still fulfill its purpose. It’s 3” precision hammer forged barrel was designed for accuracy. Standard rails are provided for those who wish to customize their unit. Reversible magazine release is also part of the design for complete ambidextrous control.
It’s a jungle out there and the Hellcat is the perfect companion to carry around for self-defense. The magazines can be upgraded to handle more rounds (up to 13+1). With the adaptive grip texture and high visibility sights, the Hellcat is designed for every day carrying capacity.
Springfield Armory is definitely a household name in the firearms industry. If you’re still not convinced, the brands M1 Garand and M14 might help trigger some familiarity. Bottom line, the guys at Springfield Armory know what they’re doing. You can see that their main reason for existence is to equip you with instruments for self-defense.
If you have had the chance to own a Springfield made firearm, especially one in the Hellcat series, feel free to comment below your experience and let’s talk about it.
